MAJOR COLLABORATIONS
Department of polymer engineering, University of Akron, Akron, Ohio, USA. Dr. Robert Weiss, an expert in the study of functional polymers from renewable resources. We were investigating the preparation and characterization of materials with potential application in polymer blends.
As a a result of cooperation with Galactic company (Belgium) we have developed PP/PLA blends with improved miscibility.

EXPERTISE
I have over 10 years of work experience in the field of polymer processing technology, modifications of polymers via reactions in the melt and characterization of polymeric and composite materials using advanced characterization techniques. For example, in the cooperation with Galactic company we have developed compatibilizers with application in PP/PLA blends with improved PP/PLA miscibility.

INDEPENDENCE
My scientific independence consists in knowledge of polymer processing and its influence on structure and properties of polymers and composite materials. My expertise is strongly focused on reactive modification of polymers and development of novel multifunctional materials with wide range of applications.

MOBILITY
From 09/2013–12/2013 I attended research fellowship in the USA, Ohio, University of Akron, Department of Polymer Science.
