Instrument description:	MALDI-TOF/TOF mass spectrometer Ultraflextreme (Bruker Daltonics) is a versatile tool capable of serving various analytical purposes. The identification of proteins, oligonucleotides, synthetic polymers and other types of compounds is obtained using a simple and rapid analysis workflow. Methodical variants based on direct profiling of bacterial strains and other biological materials for the purpose of their differentiation are under development in our laboratory. Additional information on the structure of analyzed compounds is gained by employing LIFT (MS/MS) arrangement.
