Laboratory of Laser Spectroscopy group has more than 20 years of experience with the development of laser-based spectroscopic methods, namely Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS). The lab disposes of all necessary devices for the implementation of qualitative and quantitative analyses in single-pulse, double-pulse (with increased spatial resolution and detection limits), LIBS + LIFS (Laser Induced Fluorescence Spectroscopy) modes. The robustness and instrumental simplicity of LIBs device enabled the development of the stand-off LIBS device; the mobile chemical lab for direct in-situ and non-contact analysis from 6 to 25 metres. The lab based instrumentation enables also the analyses of liquid and gaseous samples.
Other reference (Inductively Coupled Plasma techniques, implemented either with Laser Ablation or after microwave digestion) or complementary (molecular – Raman Spectroscopy) analyses can be provided via this laboratory.
More information please refer to the original website of the Laser Spectroscopy group or contact the guarantee, Dr. Pavel Pořízka (pavel.porizka@ceitec.vutbr.cz).
Open access LIBS analysis will be provided by the lab-based table-top system, depicted on the figure. For more information contact responsible persons of CEITEC nano or register directly on the website to yield the measurement time.
